Once you are open to seeing this secret beauty with hindsight, you will rapidly become more aware of this beauty as it takes place. Spontaneous joy and gratitude will then be seen to be flooding all through your life.
The actual act of feeling gratitude brings you into energetic alignment with the heart of your life, opening the door to power, joy, and the beauty of creation. That’s why gratitude is an amazingly important part of life. Learning to acknowledge the things that bring gratitude and joy to normal everyday life is priceless, as gratitude is then brought more to the forefront of your daily awareness.
This journal will greatly help you to change the balance of your general attitude towards life, to a consciously bright and positive outlook. This shift in your perspective comes about through simply making use of about ten minutes each evening, to write about the joy and gratitude that you felt during the day or are feeling in the moment. You will then wake up the next morning with a positive frame of mind, ready to start each new day with vigour and enthusiasm.
Do your best to fill in your journal every day. Similar answers may come up to begin with, that is perfectly fine. Each new day will reveal more details of the blessings that you may customarily have overlooked in your ordinary daily life. There is no right or wrong with your journal. No one else is ever going to read your answers unless you invite them to. Write to you, and for you, being as honest as you can.
If writing in your joy and gratitude journal is a little hard at first, or you are not sure what to write, start small as the simplest things are always lovely. You can even write down things you are grateful for as you notice them. For this, you will need to keep your journal close to you throughout your day.
You may find you begin to feel so much joy and gratitude that you need more space to write it all down, so feel free to print extra sheets for your journal as you need them.
Writing in your journal is quality time with you. However, you may choose to share your journal with someone special or simply share a special moment of joy or gratitude as it happens, and see if anyone else has appreciated and enjoyed the moment too.
The more effort you put in to writing in your journal and fully feeling gratitude, the more you will develop the ability to see the good that is already in every part of your life. These are methods that will help you to super-charge the gratitude affirmation, making it easier for you to relate to it in your own case. Below the affirmation is the opportunity for you to look forward to the activities of the next day, and to feel the gratitude you have for this new day. Teaching you to use the mind to look to the past and the future without leaving the freedom of this moment.
After writing in your journal for a full 5 weeks, you will find there has been an internal shift in your life, and you will suddenly discover how naturally happy and content you are with your life, just as it is. You will begin to automatically focus on the positive beauty of each day, being truly grateful and in joy.
